4-H Clubs 2010 - 2011 New Program Year Begins

2010 - 2011 hints at being the best program year yet.  Take a look at our club line up this year.

Cloverleaf Cloggers - Come on out to the fair grounds on Thursday afternoons to learn how to dance clogging style.  It's great fun and terriffic exercise.  Meet you there!~

Forestry - If a Tree.... Learn more about trees and forest ecology.  Have fun competition with fellow 4-H'ers in the forest and wildlife ecology contests.

Hoof N Around and Horse Power are a one two punch of horse clubs under the guidance of the Horse Leaders Council to provide fun activities for you and your horse.  Clinics, shows, field trips, games and more.  There is a spooky rumor of a Horse Powered Halloween activity get involved to learn more.

Livestock 4-H  - Market Swine, Market Beef, Heifer, Poultry, Rabbit.  All these animal projects are waiting for you to come on out and learn how to participate.  Year long club participates in fairs around the area beginning with our own Baker County Fair in October.  Livestock Judging Team has been very successful in years past.

Junior Master Gardener. - Learn alternative gardening styles from hydroponics to square foot gardening.  Grow flowers, fruits, vegetables while you have fun learning and growing.)

All County 4-H Club - Yes they are looking for a name.  But All County, All Projects says it ALL.  Join in the fun as you pick several projects to participate in this year in this community style club.

4-H Leadership begins with YOUth.  If you are 12 to 18 years old.  If you are a club officer.  If you want to be a camp counselor.  If you want to have fun.  If you want to help guide the 4-H program in Baker County for yourself and other kids.  If you want volunteer hours that are meaningful and challenging.  This club is for you.  Advisor Ms. Renee' 4-H agent works with the teens to help them in a self-determined teen club.  Give her a call to learn more about it.
